Freya Ignite 28dd

Color: yellow

About the bra: This is one of the bras I got from a member of A bra that fits, she purchased them for me from Debenhams. Every time I’ve seen this bra on a website, I’ve always looked at it as being a yellow bra with black clusters on it.

But in actuality, there are colors other than black.

There are a few shades of pink, a blue, and a pale greenish blue color

There’s a black bow at the top of the gore.

There is also a black bow where the cup meets the straps.

The beautiful top portion

The straps

There is some sort of stitching detail throughout the bra.

I just want to mention, that while this bra is a bright yellow, my pictures make it look brighter than it actually is. The picture of the bow by the straps, is the most accurate in color, since I didn’t have the flash on. The fabric has four way stretch, but it’s not overly stretchy.

The review:

When I first saw this bra in person, I thought, ‘oh my goodness, this is so cute, I’m glad I ordered it’. And then I tried it on and realized the cups were too small, 😥 I think I have a fear of buying E cups, since my breasts aren’t particularly big. And given the fact that some of my 30DDs are too big, I always think that E cups will be too big. But with this bra, I definitely should have gotten a 28E. I did have both sizes in my cart initially, but I decided to go with the DD. It’s not grossly too small but I do quad in it. I am in the process of trading with an ‘a bra that fits’ member for the 28E.

Larger breast

Smaller breast

An aerial view of the quadding. It even quads on my smaller breasts. So I know it’s too small.

Its so pointy from the side. Hopefully the 28E is less pointy.

View of the back. This is one of the few bras where I have a picture of the back. It’s so hard to take that pic by myself. I just wanted to show that I think the straps are adjusted too long, because the band looks so low on my back.

I can’t wait to get the 28E. I want to see hoe the fit of that differed from this. With this particular bra, I think the strap is very tight. I don’t know if it’s because the cups are too small or not. But if I were to keep this bra, I would definitely need to wear an extender with it.

Tutti Rouge Nichole 28D/28DD Collection

I bought 5 of this style of bra knowing that they would all fit. And since the fit of them is just about the same, I decided to make this as one if post instead of 5 separate posts. Most of the pictures posted with be all 5 bras together.

Sugar Pink/Noir 28D

Noir/Pink 28D

Powder Blue/Noir 28D

Papaya 28D

Purple/Pink 28DD

There is a leopard print bow at the gore, with a small pink heart

There is a small bow where the cups and straps meet. The bow matches the color of the thread

And the lace at the top of the cup also matches the thread.

There are cute little heart adjusters ☺️

Some of the heart adjusters are gold and some are silver.

Papaya has gold; sugar pink has silver

Tutti Rouge is ‘engraved’ on the closure

A view from the top so you can get an accurate look at the shape

I tried the greenish bra on inside out,and was able to get better pictures. These are more accurate to what I actually see.

Black and white versions of 2 pics

The red line is where I think my breast should be.

I just… Don’t even know why this style looks so wrong on me. I don’t know how it could have been fixed. There is no real fix for this bra, because the 28D was the smallest size. I think there needs to be more fabric on the sides of the cup, or more stretch to the fabric.

The bra is like, pushing the sides of my breast to the front (front and center), but it’s not working the same way it does on my Cleo bras (Minnie and Maya for example). It pushes my tissue in too much.

Are my breasts too firm for this bra? Every other woman I’ve seen wear this bra have not had this issue, so I don’t know if it’s just my breasts, or if this style is incompatible with smaller breasts (everyone that has reviews of this bra seem to have breasts a lot bigger than mine)

People have said this bra fits similarly to Cleo Marcie, but it doesn’t.

I think one issue I have with this bra, is that for 3 of the 5, the wires are too narrow. 3 have widths of 4.5″, sugar pink has a width of 4.75″, and purple has a width of 5″, but the purple is also a bigger size.

I think there’s enough depth at,the bottom of the cup, but not enough on the outer side; and there’s a little too much depth at the apex.

Freya Pansy 28dd

I got a few bras from Debenhams, because a bratabase user was so kind to order them for me (the particular bras I wanted were on the original Debenhams site, but not the US version). This was my first time trying out Freya bras.

Color: Midnight

About the bra:

It has a beautiful floral design consisting of blacks, blues, white, purples and yellows.

The gore has a bow that is black and blue.

There is a cute little scalloped design on the black lace (which is stretchy).

The lace looks different on the pictures in the models.

There is a cute little decoration throughout the bottom of the bra

Where the strap meets the cup, there is also a black & blue bow.

The back of the bra straps is have black and half of the floral design.

But I feel like that makes the straps only partially adjustable.

The review:

I like this bra. It’s cute. I was kind of tight when I was wearing, so I’m probably going to use my bra extenders when I wear it again.

Okay from the side view. Pointier than what I would like, but I’ll live.

I think this bra wouldn’t work on someone that’s FOT. I have a little cutting of the tissue. The lace is stretchy though.

This is the main area that was hurting me when I was wearing the bra. The ‘pain’ started about two hours after I put the bra on. I was on my way to MD, so I had no choice but to continue wearing the bra.

When I took the bra off there were marks on my skin.

I did also notice that on my bigger breast the marks left by the wire were sitting on my breast tissue, not next to it. So I’m thinking I need to either attempt to stretch the wire, slightly, or get a 28E.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is what I wore over the bra. A cami from walmart (for only $1.68!), and a hello kitty tank also from walmart.
Because of how pointy the Freya bras are on me,  I’m hesitant to get more. I am going to attempt a Freya Arabella though.
Cleo Maya 28dd
Color: animal print
About the bra:
This bra features two different fabrics, lace and a non stretchy polyester/polyamide blend, both which have animal prints on them. I’ve see women mention they didn’t like the different animal prints, and while I can see why they would say that, I personally think it’s cute.
The upper mesh part, has pink and green stitching, and a pink serged outer seam.
The gore in the middle features a neon green bow. The green is the same as the stitching on the mesh.
It’s slightly greener in person.
The actual cups have animal print in a dark blue, blue, light green, pink, and white. Both cups have different patterns. On my particular bra the left cup has a darker color scheme than the right cup.
The band s a dark blue color, with pink at the bottom.
The straps, as well as the hook and eye closure is a beautiful coral pink.
The review:
I love this bra. When I first saw it, I said “I gotta have it!” So I bought it in a 30dd, but it didn’t fit, so I got it in a 28dd. This is the best fitting bra, next to the cleo lucy.
the gore tacks. Although I think it is a little on the high side.
There is no gapping at the top!!
This bra has a lot of uplift.
This is almost VS level of cleavage!
Another view of the cleavage.
The only thing is, I think if I gain even a little bit of weight in my breasts, I’ll start quadboobing. But when I gain weight, it goes to my lower half.
The side view, is nice, and rounded.
I personally would prefer more side coverage. The one issue I always seem to have is not enough side coverage with most bras. But most of the bras I have don’t fit.
Something I notice about {the} Cleo bras {that I own}, they seem to push everything to the front, making me look slimmer. I think most women would like this, but I’m already only about 108lbs, so I don’t really want to look slimmer. I also think it makes my breasts look smaller, which again is not something I want.
But this is a bra I will definitely keep, as long as it fits. ☺️
Curvy Kate Emily 28dd
I bought this bra from Uplift.com. The link was posted on ABTF. The bra was 80% off and I ended up paying about $9 +shipping. I also bought a curvy Kate princess also 28dd and also for $9.
I was hoping it fit, and it does. But not perfectly. Well the cups fit…
Color: teal/white
Style: soft cup
The review: this is a bra that I actually wore. I wore it today at work.
This is how it looked with my top on:
The view from the back looks too tight. I may try this on with an extender, but I think that’ll make the cups a little bit bigger.
22923681253_20b4a975fe_n_d
I do think that the sides come up too high.
23255034540_aef37941be_n_d
I also think the wire is a little too far back.
23255034250_4b11f62a99_n_d
There is a pinch of space in the lace on the smaller breast.
22922515094_f59f617030_n_d
The gore was very uncomfortable after a few hours. *something I’ve been dealing with lately with these soft bras. I put 2 pieces of tissue to soften the pain, and it kind of helped.
