Ewa Michalak BM Tajemniczy Ozgród 70DD

Tajemniczy Ozgròd translated means Secret Garden. Such a cute name for a cute bra.

When I first saw this bra, I said ‘I need to have that!’ But I did not know if/how the BM cut would fit me. The BM cut can be described as a full coverage lightly lined bra which gives a less round shape than most other Ewa cuts (that is obviously not something I paid attention to before I bought the bra)

So, before I start the review, I do want to talk about what I did to this bra before I wore it. The cups were a little too big (there was a slight wrinkle in the bigger cup, and from the side it was pointy), and the band was too big. So I decided to attempt to shrink it. What I did was get a plastic container and put hot water in it. From my days of trying to shrink jeans, I knew the best thing to do would be to use extremely hot water. I was impatient so instead of actually boiling water I put the bowl of water in the microwave for around 7 minutes. After 7 minutes, I added about a capful of vinegar to the water, to keep the color from fading/running. A lot of Ewa bras mention that they need to be washed with a powder. I then placed the bra in the water for around 15/20 minutes. I then rung it out, and placed it in the dryer (in a lingerie bag, by itself) on the delicates cycle. According to the dryer the cycle was for 29 minutes. I wasn’t watching the dryer, but 30 minutes later when I took it out the dryer it was still a little damp. When I got home and tried the bra on, it did feel a little tighter, so I was happy with it.

The band

The band is actually too loose for me. Normally I’d order a 65E, but since the last two 65 bands I got from Ewa were way too small, I wasn’t taking that chance again. I’d rather have a band that’s a little too big than too small.  I have extenders, but I keep losing them. Originally when I measured the band it stretched to 30 inches (76.2 cm). There’s a total of 4 columns, and when I wear this bra, I have it hooked on the second to the tightest hook. So it’s definitely larger than any band I currently wear. I do think I would have been okay with a 65 band in this bra.

The cups

Measurement wise, this bra fits- the width is 5 inches (12.7 cm), and 8.5 inches (21.59 cm) for the depth, with a cup height of 6.1 inches (15.49 cm) (I do wish it was a little shorter, but it’s not actually too tall for me). **The depth of the bra after being shrunk measures 8.25 inches- 20.96 cm; The height of the cup after being shrunk went to 5.9/6 inches- 14.99/15.24 cm. So it’s not a huge difference, but it was enough since the bra wasn’t huge on me.

The top of the cup is a stretchy tulle, which is perfect for FOT breasts. I almost want to consider this a 4 part cup, because there is technically 4 pieces to the cup- the outer lower portion, the inner lower portion, the upper portion (which are the main 3 parts), but there’s also a piece that attached the strap to the outer bottom & upper portion of the bra. This bra in particular does not have a thick lining, the material is almost like a very sof/silky feeling interfacing.

The gore

The one thing that keeps Ewa’s from being 100% for me (in most of her styles) is the gore. The gore on this is 2.25 inches (5.72 cm), and .75 inches (1.91 cm) wide, which is the same as my Conexims, BUT the gore on this bra stabs me. It’s not an immediate thing. I didn’t feel the gore until 11am, so about 4 hours after I put it on. I would be very happy if it had a soft tack.

This style is considered a balconette, but the gore isn’t as high as the wires on the side. It’s a I shape, but the inner part is shorter than the outer part.

The wires

The wires are too hard for me. I can feel them throughout the day. The wires encompass my breasts completely. There is a little sore area at the top of the outer area on my bigger breast where the wire was occasionally poking.

Ewa please use softer wires on smaller sizes. 😩

The straps

The straps are fully adjustable. I can’t say whether they’re too wide or not because they for me okay.

For me, the appearance from the side isn’t as round as I would like, but that’s partly because I have pointy breasts.

Ewa M HM Sekret Wiktorii 65DD

I bought this bra, because 1 I love the way it looks, and 2 because I wanted to try an unlined Ewa bra. I kept going back and forth on what size to get, because there wasn’t a lot of info on unlined bras in my size, as well as a lot of info for this bra in particular. I ended up going with 65DD, because I figured if it was too small it could be a “sexy time” bra. However, even though I sized down, it was still too big.

The straps

The straps are wide set. Actually, too wide for me. I tried this bra on a few times (for mere seconds/less than 5 minutes), and everytime it felt uncomfortable. My shoulders aren’t particularly narrow, so that something to keep in mind if you are interested in this bra.

The cups

When I bought this bra, there were only 2 other people that had owned this bra, and they were both nice enough to measure their bras. Both of them listed the depth as being around 8.1 inches (20.57 cm), with a width of 4.9 inches (12.45 cm). Those 2 measurements work out for me, with the depth possibly being too small. Well, with the bra I received, the depth was 9 inches (22.86 cm), which is too deep for me.

The top of the cup is also open. It’s not like other unlined halfcups that have an elastic piece that goes across the top. There is space between my breast and the top of the cup. I think because the straps are set so far apart, the sides of the cup come up high on me, and irritate my skin.

The gore

The gore is too high and too wide for me. The gore is 3 inches (7.62 cm) high, and about .75 inches (1.91 cm) wide.  If this were a Comexim it would be okay, because the wires are soft, but this isn’t Comexim, it’s Ewa, so the Cleo like wires are painful for me.

The band

The band is TTS, and firm. Sizing up wasn’t necessary (thankfully since that wasn’t something that crossed my mind). The band does stretch to 30 inches (76.2 cm). The band has 4 rows of ‘eyes’ (I do find it interesting that some of my Ewa bras have 3 and some have 4)

I like the way this bra looks (just not on me), and while I would like to reorder it in a smaller cup size, with my luck the band would run small. I also don’t think I have the breasts for unlined halfcups. I haven’t come across one unlined halfcup that I love yet. They all seem to emphasize my natural shape instead of providing some sort of uplift.

Ewa Michalak M Opuncja 65DD

This bra is one of the bras I was originally offered by ‘Ewa’ to review, but since I didn’t know what it actually looked like (I was told “green & raspberry”), I went with the Jezynka. When this bra, and the M Chaberek were listed on Ewa’s site, I decided to get it (the fact that it was on sale didn’t hurt). Since I was pleased with the Jezynka I decided to get the same size. The Jezynka was my first Ewa bra in the M style, so I assumed they would all fit the same.

When I initially placed this order, I asked Kaska if this bra came in a base color that wasn’t beige. I felt the base being beige was meant to give the bra a lacy nude like appearance. So to get that same appearance, a brown base would look best on me. Káska informed me that the only color they had to use as the base color aside from beige was black, and that if I chose that option, it would be an extra 40zł. 40zł is only about $10, but since I was already buying 2 bras and paying the 6% fee, I didn’t want to add an extra $20. Plus I don’t think black as a base color would look nice, and it most certainly wouldn’t go with my skin.

The base color for the bra is beige, and the lace is a dark turquoise green with pink accent pieces.

The band

<long deep sigh> The band on this bra is ridiculously small. Ok,Minot ridiculous, but it only stretches to 25.5 inches (64.77 cm), which is 1 full inch smaller than my BTT measurement. I can actually wear it closed without an extender, but I just can’t inhale. I can wear this bra with 3 extra hook/eyes from 1 extender or, up to 5 with varying degrees of comfort. With 1 full extender the band still feels,a little tighter than what im comfortable with. With 1 full extender and 2 extra hooks it feels a little loose. 4 extra hooks feels okay. I do wonder if Ewa is starting to make the band size correspond with the cm- a 65 band only stretching to 65 cm.

The straps

With 5 extra hooks, the straps on both shoulders constantly fall off. This is something that never happens to me. It was very bothersome to me. (Now I know how people with narrow shoulders feel). With 4 extra hooks only the strap on my smaller side kept slipping off. The obvious solution to that is to adjust the straps, but I’m too lazy to do that once I have the bra on. Plus the straps don’t slip when I’m not doing anything (it was when I was at work working that the straps started slipping).

The cups

Width wise and depth wise the cups are in my ballpark, being 5 inches (12.7 cm) and 8.5 inches (21.59 cm) respectively. The cups are nice and low coverage, and there’s a decent amount of projection at the wire.

The appearance with a fitted shirt is kind of pointier than what I normal get from Effuniak bras. I would consider it a natural shape, and not particularly uplifted

This is how the cups look without wearing an extender. (No pads)

Looking at this picture the cups actually look too small.

The gore

The gore is unproblematic for most of the day. One of the times I wore this, I did feel the gore, but it wasn’t really digging in. It’s nice and low at 1.7 inches (4.32 cm). The gore does not overlap at all.

The Wires

The wires encompass my breasts perfectly.

So initially I was going to return this bra. What sense does it make to keep a bra that is obviously too small? But then I looked the bra over, and I saw some damage. There is a small cut in the beige mesh on the inner part of the gore, it looks like it was cute when they were cutting the fabric.

Everything I’ve read about Ewa (the company) tells me that if I were to return this bra, they may not accept it because they would think that maybe I damaged the bra. So with the damage I knew I couldn’t sell this bra without taking a loss, and I *probably* couldn’t return it.

As much as I want to say I lov this bra, I don’t. If the band as tts, I would love it. So, I’ll say I like it a lot. 🙂

The review:

This is bra was altered in the band from a 75 (34) to a 65 (30). The straps unfortunately are still meant for someone that would wear a 75. The straps are too long for me, even though I have low set breasts. While the band fit nicely now, I think this is a size I won’t get in the future (I just bought a Comexim in 75D–only size available– and asked them to shorten the band so it fits like a 65F. So we’ll see if I’ll have the strap issue). I tightened the straps enough so that I wouldn’t get gapping (even though it was a slight amount it bothers me), but that caused the straps to feel too tight.

By the end of the day, the gore was very stabby. Cleo levels of stabby. The gore wasn’t high, and wasn’t wide, so I’m not sure why it was painful.

As I’ve said, the band was altered. It wasn’t done professionally, but it has held up as if it was. When I wore the bra the band felt snug like a 65 band.

If it looks like the wire on the bigger side is too wide, it’s because I vigorously swooped and scooped, and the band was firm enough that it stayed in place.

I love the look and feel of this bra, and I would love to get my hands on more CH cuts from Ewa. I think I would try them in 65DD just to have a more sexier look. I went years wearing VS bras (that had a sexy look) that now that I’m wearing “fuller bust” bras that have more coverage, I am looking for that sexiness (but without all the padding)

In case you’re wondering, yes that hurt. The gore was very stabby after a few hours. When I say stabby, I mean of Cleo proportions. I don’t know what happened, but this bra never really irritated me like it did this last time. The gore is 2.1 inches in height, and the width is .6, so it’s not particularly high or wide.

The review:

I do love the way my breasts look in the CHP. I like the way it feels on– it’s “padded”, but not overly so. I found myself constantly touching my chest throughout the day. And even though the bra is “padded” when I touched my breasts, I was feeling my breasts. (Unlike if you touch your breasts in a VS bra, you feel mounds of padding). If I sized down (or wear pads) I could have cakes on a plate cleavage. That is something I’d like, but I don’t like to wear the pads (I have them all in a large ‘sandwich’ bag.), and I also don’t want to buy a size down.

I also want to point out that it may look like the straps are in my armpits, but there isn’t any irritation for me.

Ewa Michalak Pl Triumf 65E

This is going to be a very brief review because I literally just got the bra, and I plan on changing the color soon.

The bra:

The fit: This bra is very comfortable. I haven’t really taken it off since I put it on. I tried it on without the pads (that’s how it came), with the thin pads, and then with these thick pads that came in a target bikini that I just bought.

Without padding:

With the Ewa thin pads:

With the thicker target pads:

Comparison pics of all three:

My bigger breast is on the left side of the pics (where the writing is). As you can see the amount of cleavage I have gets bigger as the padding gets thicker. So this can go from an ‘everyday’ bra, to a sexy bra with the use of padding. (I don’t use any padding at all in any of the bras I currently wear). As I add padding, there is some stretching of the cups that’s closest to the gore, so I should probably wear it without any padding. With the padding the bra is essentially too small.

These are the pads that I was given with the bra

These are the pads from a target bikini

The gore is nice and low.

The wires don’t seem wide– to me.

The measurements of this bra seem similar to what I need in unlined bras. 5.25″ width, and 8.75″ in depth. Oddly enough, my depth measurement is bigger than what is in Bratabase. (Mine 8.75, the other person has a depth of 8″)

The band is nice and firm.

I love that this bra isn’t “full coverage”. This will most likely be an everyday bra for me. A bra that I can comfortably wear on the days that I work longer shifts.
