Panties! Cleo Meg, Cleo Kali & Freya Patsy

Large Cup Lingerie was having a 48 hour flash sale a few weeks ago and I decided to buy some matching panties for some of the bras I have. I got:

Cleo Minnie thong

Cleo Kali brief

Freya Patsy short

Cleo Minnie thong– I have no complaints about these. I think they’re so cute!

Cleo Kali brief– I don’t like these. They have too much coverage in the back for me. The front part of the leg opening seems like it would rub against my skin when worn. The front is very sheer. **I don’t have the matching bra**

Freya Patsy short– I initially wanted to buy the thong, but it was either not available in the size I needed or it wasn’t as cheap as the brief. I can’t remember which, but I still wish I ordered it instead.

I don’t like the way the hem is at the leg opening. I initially thought there was room because they’re slightly too big.

In case you haven’t noticed, I am still wearing my regular panties. I’m not completely sold on the Patsy, or the Kali. They both seem to have more coverage than what I would prefer. I honestly prefer coverage like this

When I initially purchased these panties, I wasn’t even sure if any of them would fit, because they were 3 different sizes (according to the website). The Freyas were size XS, the Kali was size 6, and the Minnie was size 8!

i think I paid about $16 USD, for the three pair, so that wasn’t too bad. The quality of the panties is very nice. The material is nice and sturdy, much like the bras.

If you’re interested in the panties, you can find them here:

The Kali is no longer available.

Wetseal bralette size M

This is the first bralette that I’ve bought in over 10 years. I’m not really a fan of bralettes, and for the longest time I’ve wanted to hide my breasts since I’ve always hated the way they look. Even now,I hate the way they look, and at some point in the near future, I think I want to get breast implants. But I want to have children first…

So I bought this from wetseal, when they were having a 40% off sale and free shipping. Hot pink bralette. I also bought this (which I don’t particularly care for, but I can’t return it), and this, which I love. Since I’m short, it hits mid thigh. I’m so glad I bought the shirtdress, because it is now sold out in size small, and I’ve been dying for a shirtdress.

Anyway, this is not really going to be a review, because I only tried it.

Color: Hot pink. From the pictures online, it looks like a coral color

But it is indeed a hot pink color

There’s a cute scalloped design at the top of the cups, as well as at the bottom of the bralette

The bottom portion is sheer

The cups are fully lined though

And there is a cute black bow between the cups

The fit:

As I’ve said, I didn’t actually wear this, so my comments are going to be short. I chose the medium, because I knew the cups on a small would be too small. I was worried that the ‘band’ part would be too big, but it didn’t seem like it was. Another issue I may have encountered if I got a small, would be whether it could stretch enough to fit over my butt. I’m sure most women put bralettes on by pulling them over their heads. But whenever I put dresses on, I pull them up (over my hips) rather than pull them down (over my shoulders), if possible. My shoulders are actually wider than my butt/hips (only by about 2 inches).

On to the pics. I don’t think I’m a fan of the fit of this bralette. I don’t think it looks horrible, but I don’t think it looks good either.

looks okay from the front

Okay from an angle

Meh from the side

In the last pic, it almost makes my breasts look… Saggy? I don’t think saggy is the word I’m looking for, but it doesn’t seem to provide any lift. Granted, I didn’t S&S, because I totally forgot.

All in all, I don’t think I’d buy another bralette, unless I caught it on a good sale. I do however, still plan on making one, someday.

About the Bra:

This is a molded contour cup tshirt bra. There is lightly lined, enough to cover nipples, but not overly thick like a push up bra. Most of the bra is black, except for the bright pink bow on the front, the ribbon along the cups, the straps, and the closure.

The review:

I decided to keep this bra, since it wasn’t getting any attention on bratabase. A lot of people say this bra doesn’t fit most women, and it seems to be $15 on amazon quit often, so I’d have to lose money in trader to sell it. And even with a lower price, I couldn’t be guaranteed to sell it, since it’s not the best fitting bra.

The first time I wore this, I wore it two days in a row. I don’t even remember why. So this is a review made after the bra was worn.

So like 90% of the rest of the people that have tried this bra on, it doesn’t fit me. I get a ridiculous amount of cleavage after I S&S.

It is very closed on top, so it isn’t a good fit for FOT shapes, or probably shallow shapes either. I am FOB/even, and you can see it’s cutting into my tissue as well. I believe this is why it doesn’t fit that many women. It’s too closed on top.

The gore tacks

It’s too shallow at the bottom, so I have space between my breast and the wire.

The side of the cups come up kind of high. High enough that it bothered me every so often (but not too much)

I will admit, this bra is actually very comfortable on. One of the days I wore it, I literally forgot I was wearing a bra. I walked into my bedroom and thought, ‘I should probably put a bra on’ then I looked in the mirror and remembered I was wearing one. It was that comfortable.  Having said that, I wouldn’t buy another one. These days I prefer to wear soft bras.
